Dimensions: 26 in. Overall Length
Materials: Teak finish ash wood, 4 bronze aluminum tubes, flamed stainless steel windcatcher.

Tuned to the notes of the "First Call," heard at the start of horse races.

Humans began to domesticate horses around 4000 BC. Today we interact with horses in a number of ways: riding them for entertainment, using them as therapy animals, as farm workers, and, of course, racing them for sport.

"And they're off!" The familiar bugle call that signals the start of a horse race serves as the scale to which this chime is musically-tuned. The rearing horse silhouette is cut from a single piece of stainless steel that has been treated with a flamed finish, producing wonderful burnished, coppery colors.

This chime carries a lifetime tuning guarantee.

I truly like the Woodstock chimes and would have given this a 5 but for the metal horse hanging ornament. I was expecting it to be smooth and shiny and it looked blotchy - but after talking with you, was told it looks this way because of the firing technique. This was a gift and the person liked it very much. Was this comment helpful? yes no (1 people found this comment helpful, 1 did not)

Wish it had chains instead of string as they in Florida does not last. It has a nice tone to it. When you have another horse one with chains please email me, as we would like another. Was this comment helpful? yes no (1 people found this comment helpful, 2 did not)
