Dimensions: 47 in. Overall Length
Materials: Bubinga finish wood, 4 black aluminum tubes, removable windcatcher for easy customization.

Named for the brightly-ringed 6th planet from the Sun.

Because of Saturn's large mass and resulting gravity, climate conditions are extreme - wind speeds can reach 1,800 km/h.

This wind chime is designed and handcrafted for superior musical performance. It is hand-tuned to a universal, pentatonic (five-note) scale and acts in concert with the wind to create random patterns of wonderful sound. Harmonizes beautifully with all the other Encore Collection windchimes.

This chime carries a lifetime tuning guarantee.

This chime is designed to hang from a string loop, rather than an o-ring.

I love the long tubes and the mellow, lower-pitch sounds. I think the black Chimes of Saturn are beautiful---a slightly Asian look. Am giving one set as a gift and the other is hanging outside on our deck. The only thing that is missing is the hanging ring that was mentioned in the little brochure inside the box. I think this chime needs a ring because the string won't last very long before it breaks. That's the only thing that concerns me--the string is so thin and I wonder how it will stand up. A hanging ring would be nice, though. I actually bought a third set in a store while on vacation and that was the reason I ordered the others. There are no hanging rings in any of them. I'm trying to come up with a "fix" using something. When the strings break, it will be hard to find a way to put it all together again. I have several chimes on our deck and have had to re-string them as they've aged--have to be creative! Otherwise, love the chimes. Very nice chimes. Long & slender with a nice sound, a little loud when it's fairly windy, but nice when there is just a breeze. Was this comment helpful? yes no (2 people found this comment helpful, 2 did not)
