A beautiful sound - anyone can play - perfect for musical self-discovery.

Our Pipedream is a beautiful sounding metallophone instrument that is perfect for playing simple melodies or improvising. It is made with the same musically-tuned tubes we use in our world famous Woodstock Chimes and is tuned to a pentatonic (five-note) scale, rooted in the music of ancient civilizations. Playing the Pipedream is easy and very satisfying. You can try the familiar songs printed in the song sheet such as Amazing Grace (with numerical notation for those who don't read music), or experiment by creating your own tunes. Part of the Woodstock Soloist Series, The Pipedream can be played along with the its bonus CD of original music composed specifically to harmonize with this chime's "solo" performance. Any way you use it we think you'll enjoy playing the Pipedream as much as we do. It's like a (pipe) dream come true!

This chime carries a lifetime tuning guarantee.

I received the Pipedream yesterday and immediately wrapped it up and took it out to one of my special clients (cerebral palsy, very limited movement, and developmental issues) to play. I have been looking for a D major instrument to add to collection of pentatonic tone instruments. This is loud and easy for him to play - he can hold one mallet and strike. It appears well made although not a heavy instrument. I am wondering why both ends are not secured on the foundation. Because I travel to some special clients, I try to bubble wrap and pad instruments I have to transport. The tones are lovely and my clients love to play. Thanks for making music accessible. Love! I've had mine for a year and liked it so much that I bought this one for a good friend who loves it as well. I learned of your company years and years ago when I acquired your since-discontinued Gamelan Chimes (which I still have and enjoy and which you should perhaps resurrect). How about something along the lines of Pipedream, with more notes/chimes and set up like a vibraphone/marimba? Was this comment helpful? yes no (7 people found this comment helpful, 2 did not)
