From butterflies to blue whales, the earth teems with life. Areas that sustain life are called habitats, and each habitat is part of an interconnected system that makes the richness of our life on Earth possible. Our Woodstock Habitats series celebrates the variety of nature around us. Made of cast metal, these designs incorporate some of our favorite animals and other reminders of nature which can enhance your habitat.

The art of casting metal has been around for thousands of years. When heated to extremely high temperatures, metal will reach a molten state and can be poured into a mold. In this way, the ancients were able to create items of both enormous utility and great beauty. The same basic processes are used in foundries today.

This chime is designed to hang from a string loop, rather than an o-ring.

I love my bell windchime. I have had this handing outside for 4 years and it is in great shape. I love the sound of the bell. I like that it takes a pretty nice wind to ring, that way it is not ringing all of the time. I have given this bell as gifts to my friends. Used outside and it took a really breezy day to make it chime, but that was good, while my other chimes sound easily I always knew a storm was a brewin when I heard that distinctive bell! Only problem is the string did not hold up outdoors and the bell clapper dropped off. Found all the parts except the clapper, how can I get a replacement part?
