Re-lacing a wind chime.

Why did Woodstock Chimes discontinue their re-lacing service?

I very much would have preferred to mailed in the wind chime and pay Woodstock Chimes to perform the re-lacing. I never again intend to re-lace a wind chime as it took too much effort.
Going forward, when the strings break, I will throw out the entire chimes and purchase another wind chime from which ever other company I see first.

The gage of the string seems to light for my large gong. It arrived in timely fashion. I had to call to get restringing instructions. I hope the string will last like the original.
