Looking for other Woodstock Chimes that sound good with one(s) you have? Garry Kvistad, founder of Woodstock Chimes, has a full list of suggestions. For this chime, he suggests these groups of Woodstock Chimes as they have connections either musically, culturally or historically to Seashore Waves:
- Ocean / Beach
A curtain of white capiz, this chime is reminiscent of soft summer days full of bright sunlight. When touched by the wind, this chime produces a delicate tinkling musical sound.
Capiz are farmed in Indonesia and every bit is used. The pieces are carefully sorted, dried, sliced, shaped, sanded and dyed. Strung together with strong, invisible nylon cord, the thin, flat translucent pieces provide luminous color.
In the 1500s, capiz were used as windowpanes in houses; now they are used in all sorts of home decorations, including lampshades and vases and (of course) windchimes!
This product is handcrafted with pride by artisans in Bali; therefore, sizes can vary.
This product is designed to hang from a string loop, rather than an O-ring.
