This chime features thick-walled tubes that are dramatic to look at and offer resonance that lasts.

The Chimes of Orpheus pay tribute to the son of the muse Calliope. In Greek mythology, Orpheus was known as a gifted poet and singer who had the ability to charm all living creatures with his song.

This chime is tuned to an ancient Chinese pentatonic scale. Hang the Chimes of Orpheus in your garden and let it charm all who visit your home.

Our Windsinger Chimes combine computer-age technology with the very finest artistry and craftsmanship, creating a whole new dimension of beautiful sound. Made from super-thick-walled aluminum tubes that are specially suspended, these chimes resonate much longer than other windchimes, bathing the listener in waves of enduring harmony every time the wind blows.

Woodstock Chimes are musically tuned using an ancient system known as "just intonation." This means the frequencies at which the different tubes vibrate are related to one another by simple whole-number ratios. Tones that are related in this way produce the purest, most beautiful musical intervals.

This chime carries a lifetime tuning guarantee.

This product is designed to hang from a string loop, rather than an O-ring.

The best so far

The chimes of Orpheus is the fourth set of windchimes I've purchased from Woodstock. The Amazing Grace large chimes we loved and my mom did to so we gave them to her. I purchased two bells of paradise chimes (I think 54 inch) and honestly they were way too quiet. Even on a windy day they were hard to hear. And lastly the chimes of Orpheus. The chimes of Orpheus are a good size, look great, are actually pretty loud, and it only takes a small breeze to get them singing. The sound they produce is much better than the sound on the website. All in all, I am very happy with the chimes of Orpheus
