Garry’s Tour Schedule
Garry Kvistad joined the internationally-acclaimed percussion ensemble NEXUS in the Fall of 2002 when John Wyre, one of the group's original members, retired. He has been performing and recording with NEXUS co-founders Bob Becker and Russell Hartenberger since joining Steve Reich & Musicians in 1980. Garry is one of 18 musicians to win a Grammy award for the 1998 recording of Steve Reich's Music for 18 Musicians.

The Drum Boogie Festival is a FREE, one-day music festival, which is family-oriented and multi-cultural, celebrating the diverse styles of music/dance/voice from around the world. The festival brings together world-class talent while introducing the audience to a variety of styles including Jazz, Reggae, Contemporary, East Indian, Caribbean and African. Featuring renowned musicians such as Jack DeJohnette, NEXUS, The Big Takeover Reggae Band, Beatbox House, NYU Steel and more!
